I'm extremely proud to be a published Author.
For 10 years I worked alongside a respiratory nursing team delivering Pulmonary Rehabilitation in Great Yarmouth and Waveney.
I worked face to face with nearly 2000 people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and fine-tuned what is regarded as an innovative approach to coping with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
I put my methods in a book and called it ‘COPD Innovative Breathing Techniques.’ This book is available online or alternatively I have some copies at the studio.
The book starts by explaining the background to some of the most frequent breathing disorders and posture as well as showing how gentle exercise can benefit your breathing.
I recommend some simple postural changes you can make and demonstrate how these can be an effective way to help you breathe well enough to feel like exercising.
I go on to give a daily routine of basic but highly effective arm and body movements to do, then gradually introduce exercises that you can progress at your own pace.
I teach ways you can control your breath to give you the power to move more effectively, and how you can coordinate your breath to revive your stamina.
The book details how effective the programme was for a group of patients I worked with, and how you can measure and assess your own progress as you go through the book.
Watch John's video and it will give you some idea of the benefits of this book's contents.
Don't take my word for it!
